    The ADAM-4510 repeaters simply amplify, or boost, existing RS-485 signals to enable them to cover longer distances. They extend the communication distance by 4000 ft (1200 m) or extend the number of connected nodes by 32.

    The ADAM-4510I (RS-422/485 repeater) is designed more rugged than previous models which have wider operating and storage temperatures, can accept a wider power input, and have excellent anti-noise design.   • ADAM-4510S


    Most industrial computer systems come with standard RS-232 serial ports. Though widely accepted, RS-232 has limited transmission speed, range, and networking capabilities. The RS-422 and RS-485 standards overcome these limitations by using differential voltage lines for data and control signals. The ADAM-4520/4522 converter lets you take advantage of RS-422 and RS-485 on systems originally equipped with RS-232. It transparently converts RS-232 signals into isolated RS-422 or RS-485 signals. You do not need to change your PC's hardware or your software. The ADAM-4510S repeater simply amplifies, or boosts, existing RS-422/485 signals to enable them to cover longer distances. It extends the communication distance by 4000 ft. (1200 m) or increases the maximum number of connected nodes by 32.


  • BB-232LB9R


    The 232LB9R is a 9-pin RS-232 repeater that re-transmits all 8 signals and carries the ground line through. Many computers, laptops and some desktops ship with low-power versions of RS-232 ports that are unable to drive port-powered devices or full-length RS-232 cabling. The 232LB9R can amplify these weak signals up to the RS-232 Standard for uses such as running port powered devices. It is also ideal for extending full-powered RS-232 cable runs beyond the typical 15 to 30 meters (50 to 100 feet) distance. An external power supply is required (not included, sold separately).

    BB-232OPDR isolator and repeater provides 2kV isolation for 4 RS232 lines (2 in each direction). Supports 2 data pairs or 1 data pair plus control signals in both directions.   • BB-232SPHI4


    Model 232SPHI4 isolates and protects RS-232 equipment from lightning surges, accidental high voltage shorts and ground loops. The isolator supports RS-232 data signals up to 115.2 kbps as well as RTS and CTS handshake lines. Model 232SPHI4 provides 4000 Volts isolation between sides — twice the rating of most isolators. DTE device connections are made through a DB-25 female. DCE device connections are made through a DB-25 male. The two sides of the isolator are powered independently to maintain isolation. Both sides can draw power from the RS-232 data and handshake lines, eliminating external powering requirements in nearly all systems. If the isolator is to be used with low power ports or when no handshake lines are available, external power can be supplied to either side or both (power supply not included, sold separately). This versatile powering configuration minimizes the number of supplies required by the overall system.

    Model 485OP is an optically isolated RS-422/485 signal repeater. In addition to 2KV isolation on the data lines, it can be used to extend RS-422/485 circuits an additional 1.2 km (4,000 ft.), thereby doubling the range. An added benefit is the ability to add another 32 nodes to an RS-485 network and join 2 and 4 wire systems. The compact design fits almost anywhere. Terminal blocks allow easy installation. Wiring schematic on the label eliminates guesswork. A 12 VDC power supply is required, and included, with blades for USA, EU, UK, AU, UP & CN.


  • BB-485OPDR


    Model BB-485OPDR, RS-422/485 line repeater, provides isolation and surge suppression. The repeater extends an existing network an additional 1.2 km and expands it beyond the 32 node limitation. Data signals and power inputs connect via terminal block. Automatic Send Data Control (no SW drivers).

    Model BB-485OPDR-HS is a high speed, optically isolated RS-422/485 repeater that supports data rates up to 1.5 Mbps, making it suitable for use in fieldbus systems such as Profibus. Isolation - Model BB-485OPDR-HS provides 2 kV digital isolation with 8 kV air ESD protection and 600 W transient voltage suppression on the data lines. Range Extension - Model BB-485OPDR-HS can be used to extend the range of a network up to 1.2 km (4000 ft), depending on data rates, and to add additional nodes. 2-wire RS-485, 4-wire RS-485 and RS-422 are supported.
